We Are Water Foundation India

There are two Indias. One struggles with a low daily data limit, the other struggles with lowering groundwater levels. One is concerned about finding their favorite show to stream; the other is concerned about the drying stream in their village. When we put these Indias beside each other, we see a large gap between them.

Oblivious to this crisis, this generation is too absorbed in their online world to care about it. This World Water Day, We Are Water Foundation India contrasts their world with the affected ones to jolt them awake to the inequality in access to water.

From the time she is born, right to the day she dies, a woman has society’s lens trained on her. A society which scrutinises what she wears, how she behaves, whom she meets; the list goes on. This is because in a lot of eyes, a woman cannot be trusted to make these decisions by herself. Therefore she must always be taught how to stand, display herself, or in other words, pose correctly for society’s nod and acceptance. And that’s the inequality of it all. The inequality which underlines a belief that a woman must be shown the right way at every moment of her life, whereas a man can never do wrong.

So we used the quintessential camera pose to bring alive this “invisible lens of inequality” which needs to stop and make way for equality to shine. And click that perfect picture of inequality that will hopefully open the world’s eyes.

A targeted campaign by Maruti Suzuki intended to address the age old perception of consumers preferring diesel cars over petrol cars, and where consumers fail to cover for the extra cost they pay to acquire a diesel vehicle.
What was as unique as the online calculator that helped costumers make an informed decision basis their running and usage was the message that managed to effectively update their thinking.
