According to the ED, the seizures are connected to an alleged coal mafia network operating in the region. The agency believes the recovered assets may be linked to large-scale financial irregularities and proceeds of crime. Popular international YouTuber KSI extended support to flood-affected communities by donating ₹2.5 lakh during CarryMinati's 8-hour charity livestream.

Breaking 🚨:

📍Assam Flood Relief: CM Announces Major Support Package
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced a series of relief measures for people affected by the recent floods. Families of flood victims will receive financial assistance, including ₹4 lakh ex gratia for flood-related deaths without requiring a post-mortem. An additional ₹5 lakh will be provided from the CM Relief Fund to the families of the deceased.
Other key announcements include ₹15,000 immediate cash relief for over 1 lakh severely affected families, resumption of Orunodoi benefits in the worst-hit districts, educational support for students, free reissue of lost Class X & XII certificates, and compensation for damage to houses, livestock, fisheries, and crops.
The government says these measures are aimed at helping flood-affected families recover and rebuild their lives.
