🧠 What is BPH?
The prostate is a small gland located below the bladder. In Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, the gland gradually enlarges and presses against the urethra (the tube that carries urine), leading to urinary problems.
👨‍⚕️ Who gets it?
Common after age 50
Risk increases with age
Influenced by hormonal changes (especially testosterone and DHT)
⚠️ Common Symptoms
Frequent urination (especially at night 🌙)
Difficulty starting urine
Weak urine stream
Dribbling at the end
Feeling like the bladder is not fully empty
Sudden urge to urinate
🚨 When to worry?
