DEO Gyalshing Convenes Monthly Meeting With Registered Political Parties Under Gyalshing District
Gyalshing, Jan 9 (IPR):A monthly meeting with the representatives of registered Political Parties under Gyalshing District, as per the directives of the Chief Electoral Officer, Sikkim, was held here at the Office of District Collector Gyalshing,today.
District Election Officer-Cum-District Collector Gyalshing Mr Tenzing D Denzongpa, chaired the meeting.
In the meeting, agendas extensively deliberated were, Table Top Exercise for verification of the Elector's Electoral Photographs and rectification of Blurred Photographs, Typographical Errors, Removal of illogical entries in the Electoral Roll, issuance of an Official Notice for publication of the list of rationalised Polling Stations.
The house even deliberated on the appointment of Booth Level Officers for the rationalised Polling Stations under the Assembly Constituencies of 01 Yuksam-Tashiding and 04 Gyalshing-Bernyak and the appointment of Booth Level Assistant (BLA) for Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
A total of four newly approved polling stations were mentioned in the meeting.
1. Government Senior Secondary School Khecheopalri, (Block-B), Thingling-I, 01-Yoksam-Tashiding AC.
2. Government Senior Secondary School Lower Chongrang, 01-Yoksam-Tashiding AC.
3. Government Senior Secondary School Tashiding, (Block-A), Upper Lasso, 01-Yoksam-Tashiding AC.
4. Food Godown Gyalshing, New Gyalshing, 04- Gyalshing-Bernyak.
The meeting was attended by SDM (HQ) Gyalshing-Cum-Electoral Returning Officer

(01 Yuksom-Tashiding) Mr Chandan Singh Limboo, Office Superintendent Election Department Gyalshing Ms Kadem Bhutia and representatives of registered Political Parties under the Gyalshing district.
