The new Honda Civic spotted undisguised fully and will be available in India with a 1.8-litre i-VTEC (141 PS, 174 Nm) paired with a CVT and 1.6-litre i-DTEC (120 PS, 300 Nm) available with a 6-speed manual. The petrol engine returns an ARAI claimed 16.5 km/l while the diesel returns 26.8 km/l.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is planning to introduce the facelifted version of the Elantra sedan sometime this year and it has already been spotted testing. We expect the new model to arrive as early as mid or Q3 2019 as that Honda’s Civic is making a comeback next month to take on the competition.

Hyundai Motor Company introduced the updated Elantra in the international markets .As it does bring a new breed of enthusiasm into the Elantra’s range, the cosmetic updates will elevate the already good looking Elantra’s design status to a new level. Hyundai engineers have worked in making the 2019 Elantra look sharper and more chiselled. At up front, it gets a reworked bumper, slimmer cascading grille, newly designed headlamps and fog lamp housing.Additionally, it comes equipped with a revised bonnet and rear bumper, new trunk design as well as a set of new alloy wheels. The horizontal LED tail lamps has received sportier graphics and the overall changes do make the Elantra appealing. Hyundai will contend with revising the exterior as the interior gets its fair share of updates.

The interior changes made to the D-segment sedan include added features and a refreshed cabin. It features brand new multi-functional steering wheel with mounted controls, updated switch gear for more premium appeal, updated processor in the eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and more to count. No mechanical changes are expected to be on the horizon, as the 2.0-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel powertrains could continue their duties with probable updates.

Honda Civic spied undisguised in bangalore,Honda India will launch the new Civic in March 2019 to take on the likes of the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla and the Hyundai Elantra
The new Honda Civic will be offered with a petrol engine – and unlike the last time around, will also have a diesel motor on offer. The petrol engine will be a 1.8-litre motor mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox. The petrol engine will make about 140hp. The diesel engine on the other hand will be the same 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged unit that will make 120hp. The diesel engine, in all likelihood, will come with a manual gearbox option only and could miss out an automatic gearbox.
The new 2019 Honda Civic will be priced around the Rs 15-20 lakh range.
