Job Description:
· Must have advertising knowledge.
· Market/ sales data gathering.
· Researching and identifying sales opportunity, generating leads, target identification and classification.
· Reaching out to new customers and making presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of product/ services.
· Understanding the client requirements and then offering the product/ services as per their needs.
· If needed, attend educational workshops; establish personal networks; participate in exhibitions, etc.
· Handling complete import process including operations, documentation and logistics.
· Coordinating with sales and logistics teams (local and overseas) for effective movement of goods and settling of claims.
· Preparing and payment of all commercial documents including sales quotations, tax invoices, delivery challans, customs and import documents, statutory documents, payments to government and local authorities, vendor payments, etc.
· Coordinating with Third party: Accounting Firm, Tax consultant, etc. for all related activities.
· Visiting vendors, clients, third party (Accounting Firm, Tax consultant), Government Offices etc. as and when required.
· Preparing & maintaining Inquiry register, customer contact data.
· Proper filing and keeping records of all office documents, bills, etc.
· Sending Power point presentations to Clients.
· Sending Samples to Clients.
· Sending Quotations to Clients
· Follow up with Clients by telephone and email.
· Converting inquiries into orders.
· Coordinating with vendors if required or instructed to by your line Manager.
· Updating Inquiry and Order status daily.
· Filling the order form when required for sample requirement and distributing copies as required.
· Filling up the order form, once firm order is received from Client and distributing copies as required.
· Preparing daily reports and emailing them to Director.
· Preparing a status report on inquiries and update daily.
· Prepare order & delivery status, update daily and track delivery.
· Follow up on payments for orders where delivery is completed.
· Visiting Clients whenever required to show samples or close inquiries on a personal note.
· Visiting Clients whenever required or instructed to do so by your line Manager.
· Meeting a minimum of 4 Clients weekly.
