Demand to Release Srisailam Water for Rayalaseema Farmers 🌾💧

Former Srisailam MLA Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy urged the coalition government to immediately release water from the Srisailam Project to Velugodu, Gorukallu, Avuku and Mylavaram reservoirs to support farmers facing severe drought conditions. He stressed the urgent need to provide water for irrigation and drinking purposes across Rayalaseema.

Tension escalated at Gorakallu Reservoir as police stopped former MLA Katikani Rambhupal Reddy and farmers from entering the reservoir. He demanded officials explain the water storage levels and called for the release of 1,000 cusecs of water into the KC Canal and SRBC Canal.

CPI Protest in Nandyal | Election Promises Must Be Fulfilled

CPI leaders and activists staged a massive protest in front of the Nandyal Collectorate, demanding the immediate implementation of the coalition government’s election promises.

Key demands included house sites for the poor, speedy completion of Alaganoor Reservoir works, and stopping the proposed TDP office at the farmers’ Market Yard.

CPI leaders warned that protests would be intensified if public and farmers’ issues remain unresolved.

🇮🇳 Grand 80th Independence Day Celebrations in Nandyal 🇮🇳

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic spirit under the aegis of Madrasa Arabia Noorul Islam at Chowk Masjid premises in Nandyal, under the leadership of Hafiz Abdul Salam.

Madrasa students hoisted the National Flag and proudly sang the National Anthem, remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters. The celebrations aimed to promote patriotism and national unity among students.
