On the occasion of World Environment Day, the **"One Tree – One Cow"** campaign was launched at Shri Pinjrapole Gaushala, Jaipur, with a simple but impactful vision—linking tree plantation with cow conservation.
This initiative recognizes that both trees and cows contribute significantly to a sustainable ecosystem. Trees help preserve biodiversity, improve air quality, and combat climate change, while indigenous cattle continue to support sustainable agriculture and rural livelihoods.
A unique commitment of the campaign is to plant and nurture trees equivalent to the number of cows in the gaushala, ensuring that plantation efforts go beyond symbolism and translate into long-term environmental impact.
It was inspiring to witness saints, social workers, gaushala volunteers, and citizens come together with a shared pledge to protect nature and support cow welfare. The campaign will continue through Maharana Pratap Jayanti, spreading awareness and encouraging greater community participation across Rajasthan.
