Ashraya helps Jaipur’s Adarsh Vidya Mandir become India’s first complete digital and bagless school

• Also becomes the first school to offer STEM Robotics & AI Program with the US curriculum and certifications

Ashraya, a not-for-profit, has helped Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Rajasthan’s Jaipur to become India’s first digital school in the true sense. Students now need not carry textbooks and heavy bags when they go to study, thanks to digital education using tablets that are distributed by Ashtraya. Teaching and learning now happen using tablets that are provided to students and teachers. Under the digitization of classrooms, tablets have been provided to 350 students and 25 teachers by the Ashraya under One Tablet Per Child (OTPC) and Digital Learning Ecosystem programs.

Vidya Bharti’s Adarsh Vidya Mandir which is located in Ambabari, Jaipur has become India’s first school where all students have access to tablets. These students studying between sixth and twelfth grade can access the entire syllabus on their tablets, allowing teachers to teach students without any requirement for textbooks and blackboards. Special training has been given on how to carry out digital teaching and learning. Students can approach teachers whenever they come across any query and get it solved immediately, which is a distinctive and special feature of the “no bag, no textbook” exercise.

Mr Satish Jha, Chairman of Ashraya, said the efforts are being made to redefine education in India through the ‘slate to screen’ journey as tablets replace textbooks. “Our aim is to ensure every child in India gets world-class education irrespective of his or her financial background. Technical knowledge is as important as school education as it has become the voice of the world nowadays. Digital education through tablets will facilitate students get state-of-the-art education, making them ready for the future,” Mr Jha said.

With the partnership with Thimble.io, Ashraya is offering STEM Robotics & AI (Artificial Intelligence) programme that is certified by the US curriculum. Adarsh Vidya Mandir has achieved the privilege of being India's first school to introduce the STEM Robotics & AI Program with the US curriculum and certifications. Under the STEM programme, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics will be taught in an integrated manner, developing creative thinking skills and 21st-century skills in students.

As many as 3,480 students studying in Vidya Bharti schools will be benefitted from the digital education and tablets distributed by Ashraya. Shri Shiv Prasad, Sanghatan Mantri of the Rajasthan chapter of Vidya Bharti, said Ashray revolutionised the way technology is used in education. “It is a historic step. Teaching STEM Robotics and AI and the Rajasthan Board curriculum the tablet is an unprecedented moment in the field of education and technology,“ Mr Shiv Prasad said.

Lord’s Mark Industries forays into Defence Manufacturing; Opens a 25000 sq. fts. manufacturing unit

● Invests 50 crores to set up the office and the manufacturing units

Lord’s Mark Industries, a diversified business group, forays into defence manufacturing by launching Brahamastra Defense Techno Products Limited. Shri Anil Kakodkar, former Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission of India, former secretary to the Government of India, has consented as the key member of the advisory board to provide strategic guidance to build defence technology for the new venture.

The Mumbai-based business group invested 50 crores for R&D and to set up the 25,000 sq. ft. defence manufacturing facility in Mhape. The unit has the production capacity to generate an annual revenue of appx. Rs. 200 crores initially. The company will produce a variety of Reflex Sights (Holographic Sights), Thermal Imaging Sights, Telescopic Sights, Surveillance Systems (HHTIs and other day/night uncooled cameras), and Anti-Drone Systems. The newly launched company aims to become a prominent exporter in the defence market.

Commenting on the new manufacturing unit, Mr. Sachidanand Upadhyay, Founder, Lord’s Mark Industries, said, “We are aligning our vision with the government's vision of developing and exporting global defence technology and products. We are proud to have established our defence manufacturing unit. This is our modest contribution to making India atmanirbhar by understanding and implementing technological advancements in defence production. The Mumbai-based defence company has already partnered with Israel-based MC Tech and Japan-based Devtac. The company aims to provide high-quality defence products to the Indian Army, Airforce, Navy, Coast Guard, Police, BSF, and other security services, both in India and around the world.

The company is promoted by Lords Mark Industries Ltd and RRP S4E Innovation Pvt Ltd. Brahamastra Defense Techno Products Limited is an R&D-based defence manufacturing company, established to promote Make in India defence products with a global vision. Bhaichung Bhutia’s academy set to organize football trials in Ajmer and Jaipur

Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS), powered by enJogo, will conduct trials for its residential academies (boarding school with football training) in Sanskriti, the school, Near MDS University, Ajmer on Saturday, 15th October 2022 and Jaipur Elite Football Club Ground, Mansarovar, Jaipur on Sunday, 16th October 2022.

BBFS aims to reach out to football aspirants across the length and breadth of the country through its latest initiative - 100 Trials. 100 Cities. Unlimited Dreams.

The Technical Team has shortlisted 100+ Indian cities to conduct trials based on football popularity and select the best young players for BBFS Residential Academy.

Players born between 1st January 2006 to 31st December 2013 are eligible to participate in the trials. The reporting time for trials in Jaipur is 8:30 AM and Ajmer is 7:30 AM. India’s largest luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India today announced a 28% rise in sales in the January-September 2022 period, delivering 11,469 new cars. With this Mercedes-Benz India sold more new cars than it did in the entire CY 2021. The sales growth, despite supply shortages is buoyed by a young product portfolio, resurgent customer sentiment scaling up businesses and the ongoing festive period. The strong sales performance breached the pre-pandemic momentum and underpins the growing customer aspiration and preference for a Mercedes-Benz car in core markets. This demand is sustained with a stable economy, strong market outlook and resilient businesses across sector.
Martin Schwenk, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India commented, “Our sales performance is a combination of our attractive product portfolio, bullish customer sentiments and the ongoing festive season. The ‘Made in India EQS’ is receiving an overwhelming response from customers, and we already have 300+ confirmed bookings for the luxury EV. We also have a robust order bank across all models and our focus remains to deliver these cars to our customers, on time. We are confident of maintaining the sales momentum in the coming months with newer products and service offerings in the pipeline.”
Martin Schwenk added, “Our sales are at pre-pandemic level, having crossed CY 2021 sales numbers in the first nine months this year. The current market momentum gives us the confidence for striving to achieve our highest sales ever. However, it also remains our endeavour to produce as many cars as possible to cater to the growing demand, amidst the current supply constraints.”
Mercedes-Benz rolled-out the EQS 580 4MATIC from its assembly lines last month and will be introducing the EQB luxury EV in Q4 2022.

श्रीनाथजी की नगरी नाथद्वारा में 29 अक्टूबर से 6 नवम्बर तक होगा आयोजन

राजस्थान का कण कण अपने शौर्य, बलिदान,भक्ति के साथ ही आध्यात्मिक एवं सांस्कृतिक विरासत के कारण देश विदेश के लोगों को बरबस ही आकर्षित करता है। कुछ ऐसा ही एक ओर नया अध्याय विश्व पटल पर अपना इतिहास लिखने जा रहा है। राजस्थान के राजसमंद जिले के नाथद्वारा में श्रीनाथ जी की पावन धरा पर 369 फ़ीट की विश्व की सबसे ऊंची शिव प्रतिमा "विश्वास स्वरूपम" का लोकार्पण महोत्सव 29 अक्टूबर से 6 नवम्बर तक आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

संत कृपा सनातन संस्थान के ट्रस्टी मदन पालीवाल ने बताया की महादेव के इस महा महोत्सव में 9 दिन तक धार्मिक, आध्यात्मिक, सांस्कृतिक आयोजनों की धूम रहेगी, मुरारी बापू की 9 दिवसीय रामकथा इस महोत्सव को चार चांद लगाएगी ओर इसके साक्षी बनेंगे देश दुनियां से आये लाखों श्रोता। मुरारी बापू की रामकथा, इस लोकार्पण महोत्सव में सोने पर सुहागा की तरह होगी। मदन पालीवाल ने वर्षो पूर्व श्रीजी की नगरी में भगवान शिव की अल्लड़ मुद्रा में विश्व की सबसे बड़ी शिव मूर्ति बनवाने का ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट तैयार किया था यह अब तैयार हो कर अपनी पूर्णता ले चुका है । श्रीजी की नगरी में स्थापित भगवान शिव की यह अद्भुत प्रतिमा लोगों के आकर्षण के साथ ही देश और राजस्थान के पर्यटन में एक नया आयाम स्थापित करेगी। नाथद्वारा की गणेश् टेकरी पर बनी 369 फीट की ऊँची यह प्रतिमा ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट का हिस्सा रही है। 51 बीघा की पहाडी पर बनी इस प्रतिमा में भगवान शिव ध्यान एवं अल्लड़ की मुद्रा में विराजित है जो 20 किलोमीटर दूर से ही नजर आने लग जाते है। रात्रि में भी यह प्रतिमा स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई दे, इसके लिए विशेष लाइट्स से इसकी विधुत सज्जा की गई है । 29 अक्टूबर से 6 नवम्बर तक नाथद्वारा में आयोजित होने वाले इस महोत्सव में मुरारी बापू के प्रवचनों के साथ ही आस्था, संस्कृति, संगीत और कला का महासंगम होगा ।

एक नजर विश्वास स्वरूपं पर

विश्व की सबसे ऊंची शिव मूर्ति की अपनी एक अलग ही विशेषता है, 369 फ़ीट ऊंची यह प्रतिमा विश्व की अकेली प्रतिमा होगी जिसमें लिफ्ट, सीढ़ियां, श्रद्धालुओं के लिए हॉल बनाया गया है। प्रतिमा के अंदर सबसे ऊपरी हिस्से में जाने के लिए 4 लिफ्ट और तीन सीढ़ियां बनी हैं। प्रतिमा के निर्माण में 10 वर्षों का समय और 3000 टन स्टील और लोहा, 2.5 लाख क्यूबिक टन कंक्रीट और रेत का इस्तेमाल हुआ है| प्रतिमा का निर्माण 250 वर्षों की स्थिरता को ध्यानगत रखते हए किया गया है। 250 किमी रफ्तार से चलने वाली हवाएं भी मूर्ति को प्रभावित नहीं करेगी। इस प्रतिमा की डिजाइन का विंड टनल टेस्ट (ऊंचाई पर हवा) आस्ट्रेलिया में हुआ है। बरसात और धूप से बचाने के लिए इस पर जिंक की कोटिंग कर कॉपर कलर किया गया, प्रतिमा को तत पदम् संस्थान ने बनवाया है।

IDFC Mutual Fund Gears Up to launch IDFC Transportation and Logistics Fund

IDFC Mutual Fund announced the launch of the IDFC Transportation and Logistics Fund, an open-ended equity scheme investing in transportation and logistics sector, intending to benefit from the multi-year growth opportunity in the mobility services sector. ŠKODA AUTO INDIA RECORDS DOUBLE-DIGIT SALES GROWTH IN SEPTEMBER

Growth momentum of ŠKODA’s ‘Biggest Year’ in India continues also in September

› 3,543 ŠKODA cars sold across India in September 2022
› Company records year-on-year growth of 17% over September 2021
› ŠKODA AUTO India achieved its highest ever annual sales between January-August 2022

On the heels of its Biggest Year in India, ŠKODA AUTO India achieved sales of 3,543 units in September 2022. Compared to the 3,027 cars it sold in September 2021, the Czech-based company with high levels of localisation and manufacturing, recorded a 17% rise year-on-year.

From 175 touchpoints in December 2021, ŠKODA AUTO India has widened its reach to 205+ touchpoints with the aim of hitting 250 by the end of 2022. One key reason for the consistent year-on-year growth for the company is the 95% localisation of the MQB-A0-IN platform that the KUSHAQ SUV and the SLAVIA sedans are based on. The local components and local research and development of the products have enabled an ownership cost as low as Rs 0.46 per kilometre, attracting new buyers to the brand and enhancing sales.

Currently, India stands as the third largest market for ŠKODA AUTO globally after Germany and ŠKODA’s home market, the Czech Republic.
