JKCA's coaching milestone: Proudly produces 12 BCCI Level-II certified coaches

JAMMU, Apr 26: In a remarkable testament to its commitment to nurturing cricket talent across Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has produced twelve coaches qualified for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)'s prestigious Level-II Coaching Course over the last five years.
This elite cadre of coaches—seven from Jammu province and five from Kashmir—represents the region's rising prowess in producing world-class mentors capable of shaping the next generation of cricketers. Their achievement underscores JKCA's robust grassroots programs and unwavering focus on professional development amid challenging terrains and climates.
Majid Dar, Huwaid Hamid, Samiullah Beigh, Sameer Ali, and Lone Sumayah are Kashmir's stellar contributors, while Jammu's dynamic achievers include Sameer Khajuria, Vikrant Taggar, Amit Pal Singh, Bandeep Singh, Surabhi Dadheechi, Ankita Jalla, and Nayna Kashyap.
These coaches, now equipped with advanced BCCI Level-II certification, are poised to elevate J&K cricket through superior training methodologies, tactical expertise, and youth empowerment.

Today, as Member, Cricket Development Kashmir, he spearheads initiatives to nurture young talent and elevate the region's cricketing ecosystem. Huwaid Hamid: Hailing from Srinagar, Huwaid Hamid stands as a distinguished former First-Class cricketer whose legacy extends far beyond the pitch. A proven leader in player development, he has served with distinction as Head Coach for both the JKCA Junior Men's and Women's teams, while also guiding the U-23 Women's team as Head Coach and the U-23 Men's team as Fielding Coach. Representing Jammu & Kashmir with unwavering grit and skill, he donned the team's colours in over 60 grueling Ranji Trophy matches, embodying the region's unyielding spirit against India's elite domestic sides. Sameer Khajuria: Hailing from the revered City of Temples—Jammu—Sameer Khajuria carved his legacy as a formidable former First-Class cricketer, renowned for spinning intricate webs that ensnared rival batters with mesmerizing guile and precision. Col. Amit Pal Singh: Hailing from Jammu, Col. Amit Pal Singh is a former First-Class cricketer who earned enduring distinction by scoring a century against a formidable Delhi side, then powered by the top-class bowling quartet of Ashish Nehra, Amit Bhandari, Robin Singh Jr., and Nikhil Chopra. He has represented Jammu and Kashmir and Services in Ranji Trophy. Moreover, He completed his level-II with a distinction and stands recommended for level-III.
