I am deeply shocked, heartbroken, and disturbed by the horrific incident involving a 12-year-old tribal girl in Chatroo, District Kishtwar, who was reportedly r**ed and then murdered. No words can truly express the pain and anguish caused by such a heinous crime against an innocent child.
What is even more disturbing is the alleged involvement of a teacher—a person who is traditionally entrusted with shaping young minds and, after parents, is often regarded as a guide who teaches us to distinguish between right and wrong, good and evil. If a person in such a position is accused of committing such a horrific act, one cannot help but ask: where is the fear of Allah? How can someone entrusted with educating and protecting children commit such an unimaginable crime?
A teacher should be a role model, a protector, and a source of knowledge and moral guidance—not a source of fear and danger for children.
I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray that Allah gives them immense strength and patience to bear this unbearable loss.
I strongly appeal to the concerned authorities to take immediate, strict, and impartial legal action, ensure a fast and transparent investigation, and bring every person responsible to justice. The guilty must receive the strictest punishment permissible under the law.
There must be zero tolerance for crimes against children. Our daughters deserve safety, dignity, and justice.
Justice for the innocent child. Justice for her family. Let the law prevail, and let the guilty be punished.
