11 people. 11 talents. 11 million possibilities. 1 team. Oga – let’s grow.
Hello world,
Who are we? We are a team of 11 creative persons who offer creative solutions and innovative ideas for you.
What do we do? We, as a team, offer ourselves a platform individually where we can explore our imaginations to find and believe in a good idea and a good attitude.
Why we formed such a team? Our 11 team members are creative in 11 different ways. At a time when we are in between our learning experience and our professional phase our instant thoughts in our minds was to tap our various potentials into an area, in our own way where we could freely express with our talents without any limitations. Simply because we know that we’re not just BFA, but we’re FAB and we believe we can do more through our form of expression. Above all, we never wanted leave out of our gang of these limitless talents and our bond of friendship.
What do we mean by ‘Oga’? When we were thinking of a name for our team we were very clear that we never wanted anything that sounded different but we needed something that had certain freshness yet a power within the word which we felt would best describe our team. We came up with several names from many languages. That is when we came across the term ‘Oga’. Oga is an Irish word which means young and budding. Immediately we felt that this was it. It had all the meaning and depth through which we could best be represented. Though we went to the extent of finding an alternative, in case it didn’t work, but emotionally we were too attached to it.
And so our team was christened ‘Oga’, which is also the abbreviation for ‘Organization of Graphic designers and Advertisers’.
What difference do we have to offer? Well, nothing much. As mentioned before, we never intend to shout over the rooftops saying ‘we’re different’. It’s an old-school thought; it’s something that everyone preaches about themselves today. But one thing we strongly believe in is that we prefer to do more than speak more.
What are our future plans? We also intend to start a networking platform for aspiring applied artists called ‘OgaGen’ where we update information regarding applied art and it’s various streams and also offer a discussion forum for applied artists all over the world. And we have many more coming your way...
We’re ready to learn, we’re ready to grow. And we help you to grow.
Yours sincerely,
TeamOga
