With the support of ICCo, the Kokrajhar Exotic Women's Producer Company (KEWPCL)is learning food processing techniques from the SEWA team.
It was 5 days Food Processing workshop. Variety of Gujarati and non-Gujarati recipes are taught.

Ms. Hanneke Heydenrijk, Handloom and Textile Consultant of PUM Netherlands visited Sericulture unit of Kokrajhar Exotic Women Producer Company Pvt. Ltd. (KEWPCL). PUM is a volunteer organization providing business advice for SMEs and coaching for entrepreneurs in developing countries.

Ms. Heydenrijk was accompanied by ICCo's Handloom Expert Chitraban Sarma and Designer Ritusmita Borah. They met the weavers and observed the eri and muga silk rearing process in Barpeta Sericulture farm and also observed weaving activities in our Kokrajhar cluster.

Apparently, ICCo has played an instrumental role in supporting KEWPCL right from their formation to registration as an independent company. ICCo continues to support them in providing technical support, skill building and enable market linkages thereby contributing to rural empowerment
