Grinning Tree "Grinning Tree" We are a design collective based in Kolkata, India, but available anywhere in the world. We like our projects to be interesting and challenging.

We design through discourse, using the narratives that are already present in culture. These stories, voices, and visuals become the heart of the creatives that we make. We are equipped to handle projects and collaborations that cross multiple mediums and believe in pinning our projects within a framework of meaning and symbols. We don’t solicit work. free thinkers and some of our most effective work has been with startups. We are quite proud of our evolution and for the fact that we have been able to hold our own in the increasingly mundane bombardment of visuals that pass by without leaving any impact.

The official trailer of this compelling Bengali thriller is now live, set against the politically charged backdrop of 1971 Calcutta, this series will start streaming on SonyLIV from March 19.

World Television Day for Colors Bangla? This one had us at Grinning and sweating like it was exam season. Because let’s be real, no matter how many apps, reels, VR headsets or alien tech show up, television will always be peak nostalgia.
So we were like, “Okay bet, let’s make something that feels like childhood but also goes brrrr in 2024.”

Cue the chaos.

Somebody said, “Let’s write a jingle!”

AI said, “Say less.”

And suddenly we’re birthing lyrics like proud parents. Next thing you know that the whole office turns into a mini jam room. The writer shows up with that creative gremlin energy. Guitars come out like, “We were born for this.” Vocals warming up like it was some serious audition 😁. Arrangements flying around like PPT slides five minutes before a meeting.

We recorded layers upon layers until the system almost asked for annual leave.
And when we finally played it back?

‘Pure serotonin’.

We were like we just cracked it right.

So yesssssss … AI + chaos + teamwork + jam + nostalgia = a jingle that made our whole team do a collective happy dance.
