Nobody warns you that entrepreneurship slowly rewires your brain chemistry.
One day you’re just designing logos…
next thing you know you’re learning:
→ sales
→ client psychology
→ burnout management
→ negotiation
→ patience
→ rejection therapy
→ and how to survive on caffeine + blind faith
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt while building DA Designs weren’t glamorous.
It was:
→ showing up when nobody was engaging
→ posting even when I overthought everything
→ taking criticism without getting defensive
→ understanding consistency matters more than motivation
→ realizing the “boring” tasks are usually the ones growing the business
And honestly?
Success is rarely fast, aesthetic or perfectly planned.
Most days look like:
→ 27 open tabs
→ unfinished coffee
→ revisions on revisions
→ random midnight ideas
→ client calls
→ exporting files while praying nothing crashes
But somewhere between the chaos…
you become sharper, calmer and more resilient.
That’s the part nobody talks about enough.
