If you want a masterclass in ecstatic, joyful energy and purpose-driven leadership, you need to watch this audition from the Ghetto Kids on Britain’s Got Talent.

This group of 30 children from Kampala, Uganda, were taken in off the streets by a man they call “Dad”. He provided them with food, education, and a safe haven, using music and dance to make their lives better and pay their school fees.

When they took the stage, their pure, infectious joy was so undeniable that judge Bruno Tonioli did something that had never been done in the show’s history: he hit the Golden Buzzer right in the middle of their routine.

Instead of stopping, the kids kept dancing right through the falling gold confetti.
