Everyone says they want to become a thought leader.
But nobody follows thought leaders.
People follow humans with a specific point of view.
Think about the creators, founders, and professionals you pay attention to.
It's rarely because they know the most.
It's because they see the world differently.
They challenge assumptions.
They take a stance.
They say what others are afraid to say.
The problem with most LinkedIn content is that it's designed to offend no one.
And as a result, it influences no one.
"Work hard."
"Be consistent."
"Provide value."
Good advice.
But completely forgettable.
A point of view creates differentiation.
For example:
Instead of saying:
π Personal branding is important.
Say:
π Personal branding isn't about visibility. It's about becoming the obvious choice in a crowded market.
Instead of saying:
π Networking helps your career.
Say:
π A small circle of high-quality relationships is worth more than thousands of random connections.
People don't remember information.
They remember perspectives.
And in a world where AI can generate endless content, your viewpoint becomes your biggest competitive advantage.
Knowledge gets attention.
A strong point of view builds an audience.
What's a belief you hold about your industry that most people would disagree with?
