சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி.யில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய வெளியுறவுத் துறை அமைச்சர் ஜெய்சங்கர், இந்தியாவின் வெளியுறவுக் கொள்கை அண்டை நாடுகளுடன் நட்பும் ஒத்துழைப்பும் என்பதாகும் என்றார். இந்தியா வழங்கும் உதவிகளை அண்டை நாடுகள் மதிக்க வேண்டும்; பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் அமைதிக்காக தேவையான நடவடிக்கைகளை இந்தியா தயங்காமல் எடுக்கும் எனத் தெரிவித்தார்.
மேற்கு நாடுகளின் இந்தியா குறித்த தவறான பார்வையை நேர்மையான உரையாடல் மூலம் மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்றும், பாரம்பரியத்தை பெருமையாகக் கொண்டே நவீனமாக முன்னேற வேண்டும் என்றும் கூறினார்.
கொரோனா காலத்தில் இந்தியா பல நாடுகளுக்கு தடுப்பூசிகளை இலவசமாக வழங்கியதையும், அருணாச்சல பிரதேசம் இந்தியாவின் அங்கம் என்பதில் மாற்றுக்கருத்து இல்லை என்பதையும் அவர் வலியுறுத்தினார்.

ஈரான் தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சில் செயலர் அலி லாரிஜானி, போராட்டங்களுக்கு அமெரிக்கா மற்றும் இஸ்ரேல் தான் காரணம் என குற்றம்சாட்டி, தலையீடு செய்தால் அமெரிக்க நலன்களுக்கு மத்திய கிழக்கில் பாதிப்பு ஏற்படும் என எச்சரித்துள்ளார். இரு நாடுகளுக்கிடையிலான பதற்றம் மீண்டும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

பலுசிஸ்தான் மாகாணத்தில் சீனா தனது ராணுவத்தை நிலைநிறுத்தினால் அது இந்தியாவுக்கு பெரும் ஆபத்தாக அமையும் என, பலுச் விடுதலைப்படை தலைவர் மிர் யார் பாலோச் எச்சரித்துள்ளார். சீனா–பாகிஸ்தான் பொருளாதார வழித்தடம் (CPEC) திட்டம் இறுதி கட்டத்தை எட்டியுள்ள நிலையில், சீனா விரைவில் பலுசிஸ்தானில் படைகளை நிறுத்தக்கூடும் என அவர் கூறினார்.

பலுசிஸ்தான் மக்கள் கடந்த 79 ஆண்டுகளாக ஆக்கிரமிப்பு, பயங்கரவாதம் மற்றும் மனித உரிமை மீறல்களை எதிர்கொண்டு வருவதாகவும், இதற்கு நிரந்தர தீர்வு காண வேண்டிய காலம் வந்துள்ளதாகவும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இதனால் இந்தியா–பலுசிஸ்தான் இடையிலான பரஸ்பர ஒத்துழைப்பை வலுப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என, வெளியுறவு அமைச்சர் ஜெய்சங்கருக்கு எழுதிய கடிதத்தில் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.
