Why Most Schools Fail to implement Innovation (And How to Fix It)
Why do most schools struggle with innovation while a few thrive?
In this video, I break down the real reason behind failed innovation attempts in schools—and it’s not lack of ideas. It’s the top-down approach that kills momentum before it begins.
Instead, I share a proven method: pilot projects + small teams. Learn how to:
• Avoid the “dictate culture” of forced innovation
• Build 3 core teams—Innovation, Operations, and Communications
• Design low-risk pilot projects that actually work
• Structure your school into 4 sub-schools for better ex*****on
• Stop sabotaging your operations layer by overloading coordinators
This is a must-watch for school leaders, educators, and anyone serious about transforming education from the inside out.
👉 Lesson of the day: Make relevant teams in your school.

Is your school losing admissions every year — even though it was once considered among the top schools in your city?

If yes, this video is for you.

In this episode of the EdMonks School Growth Series, we uncover the hard truth about school brands:

Brands are built over decades… but they also die slowly.

If your school admissions are stagnant or declining, it’s a red alert that your brand is weakening.

Why advertisements cannot save your admissions — they only bring traffic, not long-term growth.

How changing parent expectations (from academics to holistic growth) are leaving traditional schools behind.

The real reason many second- and third-generation school owners lose their schools.

The #1 step you must take now: build a team and seek guidance before it’s too late.

📌 Key Takeaway:
"If you have started losing numbers, act now, take guidance, and build a team."

This video will help school leaders stop relying on outdated tactics, understand shifting parent demands, and take decisive action to revive their school’s brand before it collapses.

Mindfulness & Nature: Innovative Techniques in Schools
(Excerpts from the interaction with Ms. Uma Sharma)

But brain gym activities are very important. Some exercises right in the morning we have. Even in the substitute periods, the teachers are using these, you know, exercises to involve children so that they, again, through, you know, that busy routine of the school, they get a break for the child. And he resets his mind that it calms down. Then mindfulness, then connection with nature. Lot of activities are there which we are doing. When I say connection with nature, again, grounding is very, very important. What we have is that Once a week, the teacher has to take the children out in the ground, under the tree, or do a circle activity, or put their shoes on the grass, running. What I mean to say is connecting with the Mother Earth. Even we have told them, see, what happens is, we can't talk with our peer group, ma'am. We can't talk with our mother. Who can tell this? So what I have told them is, go to a tree, hug a tree, sit and I have told every child of mine, you should have one plant as your friend. go talk to that plant sit under the tree speak you will feel light and you won't believe sir the children are enjoying their coming and sharing their stories We have also started one gratitude journal, I've told

Parents Create Magic with Classroom Science
(Excerpts from the conversation with Ms Lata P Jagdeesh)

But when the criteria was suiting my qualification, whatever I was, I'm eligible. So I applied for the post and I was selected. So that's why I'm telling teachers, do something which is, you know, standing out. Don't follow the group. Don't follow the group. And then, That will remain with your child forever. And they come back to you. My kids still come back, you know, and it's an honor. One of my child is now a parent. She's in Dubai. She was my KG student. You won't believe she's a dentist now. So she's in touch with me. What's up? And she's just a new mother now. She had some issues. So, you know, she wanted some information. I didn't know anything. But I googled it. And I sent to her whatever it was. So, she's writing to me so sweetly. You cared for me when I was a child. Now, you're caring for me when I'm a mother. So, this is so nice, ma'am. You're so kind. So, I said, see, whatever is in mind. It's like once a teacher, always a teacher

Making School Unforgettable Through Joy
(Excerpts from the conversation with Ms Lata P Jagdeesh)

But what will you give to the children? Which they'll remember forever. And that is the thing you can contribute to the child's life. So we had so many songs in, I think, even in other Hindi, Marathi, whatever, they learned all that. And they were so excited to learn and with action songs. So whenever there was assembly, immediately the school in charge would tell me, let your children sing something for us. So my children are ready with any number of songs. So that was a very jolly good time for us. And I was trying to, inspire the other teachers also that you know they have succeeded in some level.
