Alok Nanda & Company Alok Nanda & Company was started by Alok as a firm with no barriers.

It was a place where design met advertising, graphics met retail design, corporate identities met strategic planning, designers met writers, and everyone got along famously. Ten years on, the company single-handedly transformed the urban retail landscape of the country by building brands that can’t be escaped. Whether it’s a Crossword Bookstore, a Barista Lavazza Espresso Bar, a Wrangler store or a Kaya Skin Clinic, they have contributed to the contemporary Indian consumer’s lifestyle in some way or the other.

The Embassy Group, a leading real estate company in Bengaluru, was ready to expand into new markets. However, the existing identity posed functional challenges – from legibility to a weighty symbol. It was the right time to refresh their identity to match their scale. We reimagined the logo form, giving it clarity and versatility. The Embassy name was given a bold presence, set in Tenor Sans, alongside the redesigned pyramid symbol. Within the symbol, the letter ‘E’ was cleverly integrated into the negative space. Thus, solving a design challenge and crafting a premiumised brand expression, at every touchpoint.

Our latest film for Sobha Realty, for the Sobha Privy Collection. ANC positioned the Privy brand around the core values of curation, rarity and exclusivity. So we crafted a fun film that featured an escalating face-off between two gentlemen connoisseurs of the rare and exceptional. Proving that wit can play a vital role in the world of luxury.
