Replugging an old blog post on digital health from 2016 - 'The curious case of EHR' (https://lnkd.in/fuEgSN7) - wherein towards the end, we had written, 'some home-health (especially fitness) device manufacturers have had limited success in terms of generating health information from users. Most of it has to do with real-time gathering of data, automation and gamification.'
Today, digital interventions using smartphones are exploding and that's where the market is moving. From apps, to handheld devices connected to smartphones, to wearable sensors. A lot of progress with much more ahead.
