Aashtam Productions is the combined effort of Gautam Arya and Ashna Barar, two creative and amiable individuals as different as chalk and cheese but together they put everything at ease. Ashna comes from a business family and rightly so always had a business acumen having always wanted to start a company from an early age whereas Gautam being born and raised in a family that is directly associat
ed and having affiliations with the Indian film Industry from it’s inception till date always wanted to give form to his ideas. Gautam, having worked with prominent filmmakers Like Shyam Benegal, Kailash Surendranath and Rajiv Menon in different capacities of Direction, Production, Creative and Writing and worked as an Agency Producer in Lowe Lintas, it was but natural for him to have a company where he along with talented like minded individuals come together and do something different from the run of the mill kind of work thus creating a new identity and entity. This combined effort proved in the formation of Aashtam Productions, where they specialize in ad films, corporate films, plays and many more creative and constructive projects. As it is said, “Well begun is half the job done” hence auspiciously the company came into existence on 3rd May 2011 and already have landed many plum assignments and projects. One of the main aims of this company is to give opportunities to new talents, new thinkers, new radicals who can think out of the box but still know that the box is equally important because if it wasn’t for the box one could never have thought out of it. Philip, Head of Creatives, two like-minded individuals who share the same vision as Gautam and Ashna. All of the team having worked from the grass root level in their different capacities lay emphasis on the proven fact that the foundation has to be strong for the bigger picture.
