Today I was at Churchgate and saw a sea of red.
You might have seen it too.
And you’ll probably see it in other cities like:
• Delhi
• Hyderabad
• Kolkata
• Bengaluru
Hundreds of people in red T-shirts, caps and flags — all here to cheer Team Nepal for the Cricket World Cup.
I was in the Churchgate area for a meeting.
But honestly, the energy outside was bigger than any agenda inside.
As a national-level table tennis player, I have lived this feeling.
• When your people cheer for you, your confidence multiplies
• When the crowd believes in you, you push beyond limits
• When the energy is collective, performance transforms
And today, that transformation was visible.
• Fans travelling from Nepal just to support their team
• Some staying 7–8 days to watch 2-3 matches
• More supporters expected to arrive
• Indian fans applauding Nepal for their strong start
• In one of the pictures — an Israeli couple proudly cheering for Nepal
Not one country.
Not two countries.
Just one emotion — sporting unity.
Happiness quotient — sky high
Energy levels — electric
Spirit of oneness — undeniable
Cricket may be the occasion.
But this applies to every sport.
If you are not into sports yet —
find one. Play one. Follow one.
Because what sport builds inside you — belief, resilience, unity — is unmatched.
This is more than a tournament.
This is what unity looks like.
