Packaging that Communicates Value Instantly – Sunlux LED Design

Throwback to a 2019 packaging design project for Sunlux LED — where functionality met refined visual storytelling.

The goal was to create a packaging system that instantly communicates product benefits while standing out on retail shelves. The design strategy focused on clarity, trust, and energy efficiency cues through a clean white base, vibrant green waves, and structured information hierarchy.

Every label element was intentionally placed:
• Bold typography for strong shelf visibility
• Color coding to highlight efficiency & eco-friendliness
• Icon-based communication for quick scanning
• Minimal yet dynamic graphics to enhance aesthetic appeal

The flowing green wave not only adds motion but visually reinforces the concept of energy flow — making the design both meaningful and visually engaging.

Designing Dreams into Visual Stories – Hoarding Campaign for The Bodhi School

Throwback to a 2017 outdoor campaign I designed for The Bodhi School — where strategy met storytelling.

The core idea was simple yet powerful: visually translate a child’s imagination into aspiration. From a chalkboard-inspired concept to a sky-bound dream narrative, each layout was crafted to evoke emotion while maintaining clarity from a distance — a key principle in hoarding design.

Typography hierarchy, color contrast, and minimal yet expressive illustrations were carefully balanced to ensure readability and recall in high-speed viewing environments. The aesthetic appeal was intentionally clean, playful, and aspirational — aligning with both parents' trust and children’s curiosity.

This project reflects my approach: blending brand strategy with visual storytelling to create designs that don’t just look good, but communicate effectively.

Design that Radiates Warmth | A Throwback to 2015 ⚡

Back in 2015, I had the opportunity to design the visual identity and packaging for Warmee Handwarmers. The goal was simple: instant communication.

The design strategy focused on high-energy aesthetics—using a fiery gradient and bold, block typography to mirror the 8+ hours of heat the product provides. By utilizing a dark, saturated background, the "Hand" silhouettes pop, creating an intuitive user experience before the pack is even opened.

Functional, bold, and timeless. Still looking as hot today as it did a decade ago.
