Have always been such an evangelist of Brocades.
The rich texture created by weaves always add character and grandeur.
The suit that am wearing here was converted from a Brocade saree which I picked up from Kanyakumari on my last trip with my Papa before he became a shining star in the sky.
Wearing this makes me go back to the times with my father who was my first Guru into textiles and embroidery.
He was the most balanced version of both the masculine and feminine in a guy.
The man who would cook, clean, garden, stitch, do hair for school , do makeup for me for dance , paint, sculpt… the list goes on.
Having grown up to such men in the family including my big brother, I have always had clear perceptions and expectations from men .
I have also had the privilege of meeting some fantastic guys in life who knew their female essence.
I am also raising a lil warrior at home to understand women in all their essence , to embrace their feminine energy, to empathise with their struggles due to biological reasons.
The world would be a much better place if mothers would take care to bring up their sons in the most appropriate manner to respect, include, engage and empathise with the women in true partnership.
The true essence of a man should be that of the Arthanareeshwara; half woman, half man , I feel as every man carries a woman inside and vice versa!
Whatz your take ?
(Half woman half man, arthanareeshwara, respect for women, the true man, brocade suits, saree into suits)
