Start optimizing your website for local search that will help your business grow faster.

Recently my laptop charger was not working so I was searching for a laptop service center for me. And google listed all the service centers which were available locally and as a normal human I went to local results because that was much convenient.

Likewise, if you are running any sort of business improve your local SEO this allows people to find information about your business quickly and easily.

Now if you are thinking about how you can do that then here are some tips.

Tips to improve Local SEO:-
1) Create a Google My Business Account
2) Get customer reviews
3) Optimize for voice search
4) Optimize with Local Keywords
5) Optimize for mobile

If you have finished developing your website then now it's time to index it on Google because we want our website to show up in search results.
(It all begins with indexing) And don't forget to link all the pages to the homepage.

Different ways you can do that:
1) XML sitemap
2) In the search console you can "Request Indexing"
3) Robot.txt
4) Internal linking
5) Have a social sharing option

So, check if your website is indexed already or not. Also, Install Google analytics & search Console.

If you have a big website or a website where visitors have to take some actions and you are facing an issue with a high bounce rate then here are couple of ways to reduce bounce rate:

1. Pop-Ups
2. Unnecessary plugins (If you are using a WordPress website)
3. Title & meta tags are not properly optimized
4. Low-quality content
5. Pages are not mobile-friendly
6. Improve content readability
7. Have a proper call to action
8. Use proper keyword
9. Make your website load faster
10. Make an external link to open in new window

It may happen that some points might be not relevant for your website. But try to test different things & see what works for you. Your goal should be to have 30% to 50% not more than that.

Yes, Bounce rate does not directly affects your page ranking. But try to keep bounce rate as low as possible.

What is Bounce Rate🧐?
Bounce rate is measured by how many people visited a page & left a page without performing any specific action such as buying, filling a form, or even clicking on a link.

A bounce rate of 56% to 70% is on the high side, 41% to 55% will be considered as an average bounce rate and 26% to 40% range will be considered as optimal bounce rate. (Numbers by )

I know after you check this post you will say Charmi there are 3 types of keywords i.e Short tail, Mid-range & Long tail keywords. That is correct but they are keywords by Lenght.

There are a number of other types of keywords that you need to take into consideration while doing search engine optimization.

✅ Have some internal linking at least 3 to 4 times organically (It should look normal)
