We kicked off Pride month with Q***rically Speaking which brought together stories, perspectives, and conversations that explored identity, representation, and belonging through the lens of popular culture.
From Schitt’s Creek and Pose to Badhaai Do, the work of , and an insightful fireside chat with the directors of Baapya, the conversation highlighted how storytelling can challenge perceptions, foster empathy, and help us see people beyond labels. We had some real, heartfelt reflections and it was so refreshing to hear the diverse perspectives.
The biggest takeaway : representation is about more than visibility—it’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are.
A big thank you to our speakers, the makers of Baapya, and the audience who joined the conversation.
Next Thursday, we continue our celebrations with Postcards from Pride, featuring an exclusive conversation with gender inclusion expert,.
See you there!
