It was the privilege to record our National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" at Studio Q inc with one of the rare instrument which is 150 years old "DILRUBA" from Lahore and Roland EL Cajon for percussions...
Sharing the project file which was recorded live and mastering is done by Pavvan Matey.

Got a chance to record these two rare musical instruments… For a National Anthem Project, and I should say that really, I am impressed with its fabulousness... The first one is a 150 years old "Dilruba"... You read it right dilruba is the name of a string instrument... Which belongs to the Sarangi Family, and it is actually 150 years old, with a lot of history around it… Owned by one of my friend who received it in family heritage, his grandmother was a dancer & she received it as a gift for here classical dance, before independence at Lahore from Ustad (we don't know the ustad name)... And trust me this instrument can sing the whole song... Second instrument belongs to the new century, the Latest Roland EL Cajon, Owned by another friend of mine... Cajon is exactly opposite to Dilruba... It's very high-tech instrument, from normal acoustic Cajon consisting drums & percussion and even SFX into it... That helps in playing R&B, hip-hop, dub step, in fact Indian dhol too... Impressive hmm? The overwhelmed excitement in me comes out again and again after listing to them... Feels complete like my passion towards music... Feels like ME...
