India’s aviation sector is facing major pressure due to the sharp rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices. Airlines including IndiGo, Air India, and SpiceJet have reportedly warned the government that continued fuel price hikes could make several flight routes financially

Reports say airlines are under “extreme stress” as jet fuel prices have crossed ₹2 lakh per kilolitre in recent revisions. Fuel expenses now account for nearly 55–60% of airline operating costs.

Important Clarification: There is currently NO official announcement that IndiGo, Vistara, or AirAsia India are shutting down completely. However, airlines have warned about possible operational cuts, fare increases, and route reductions if fuel prices continue rising.

मुंबई पुलिस में एक अहम नियुक्ति करते हुए 2005 बैच के वरिष्ठ आईपीएस अधिकारी मनोज कुमार शर्मा को संयुक्त पुलिस आयुक्त (कानून और व्यवस्था) यानी जॉइंट सीपी (लॉ एंड ऑर्डर) बनाया गया है. यह पद मुंबई की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिहाज से बेहद संवेदनशील माना जाता है. मनोज कुमार शर्मा इससे पहले भी मुंबई में विभिन्न अहम पदों पर अपनी सेवाएं दे चुके हैं. वे ‘जोन 1’ के डीसीपी और वेस्टर्न रीजन में अतिरिक्त पुलिस आयुक्त के रूप में कार्य कर चुके हैं. इसके अलावा उन्होंने CISF में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है. गौरतलब है कि उनकी जिंदगी पर आधारित फिल्म “12वीं फेल” काफी चर्चित रही, जो उनके संघर्ष और सफलता की कहानी को दिखाती है.
