Somewhere between college and a film set, a simple exercise became a part of the way I see.
It’s incredible how a lesson learnt in college can shape your instincts years later.
Thank you, Prof. Rajeev Lochan, for making us draw those frames, one day at a time. I didn’t know then how much they would stay with me.
Today, I find myself bringing the same exercise back—not just to teach my team framing, but to help them develop the habit of seeing.
Maybe that’s what a good teacher leaves behind: something that quietly finds its way into your work, long after the lesson is over.
Some lessons become skills.
Some become instincts.
And some become legacy.
