๐ถ๏ธ๐ Vietnam is spicing up the global market with a significant expansion in spice exports! ๐ ๐ Between January and July, the country exported 168,400 tons of pepper worth $1.087 billion, showcasing a 16.1% increase in export volumes and a 10.1% growth in revenue compared to the previous year. ๐ Vietnam's presence in Asian markets has been notably strong, with a 12.3% rise in pepper exports. Shipments to China surged by 55.8% and Thailand by 88.7%, marking substantial growth in these markets. ๐ป๐ณ ๐ Cinnamon exports to Africa saw a 28.3% increase, while star anise exports blossomed with a remarkable 97.8% growth in July alone compared to last year. ๐ผ Vietnam aims to develop not only the production but also the processing and trade of high-value-added spices, highlighting a strategic focus on enhancing its global market presence. ๐ฐ In the first seven months of 2026, Vietnam's total import-export turnover hit 659.58 billion USD, underscoring the country's growing influence in the international trade arena.
