1. AFFORD YOUR POST A UNIQUE APPEARANCE
Utilise Instagram's strong visual component to your advantage. Your posts will have a consistent look if you use the same signature filter and stick with the same photography aesthetic, which will make them easier for others to recognise.
2. GET ACTIVE!
Look closely at what your rivals are doing on Instagram, and more importantly, pay attention to who is leaving comments on their posts. They are most likely your intended market. Therefore, it makes sense to interact with and adhere to them.
3. HASHTAGS ARE SIGNPOSTS FOR INSTAGRAM.
People can use hashtags to search through millions of postings and identify the ones that are relevant to or interesting to them. According to research, adding 10+ hashtags is beneficial. However, don't use too many after that point because doing so makes your post look spammy.
4. ASK FOR A RESPONSE
In order to make Instagram a two-way conversation, invite feedback from your followers. Naturally, you will then need to respond to any remarks. Active participation is key, not merely having a receptive audience.
