The start of Jazz Music in Goa!

It all started way back in December 2001, when Armando Gonsalves and a team of jazz loving friends such as Valerio Sequeira, Carlos Monteiro, George Fernandez, Caetano Filiipe Colaco, Lester Godinho, Carlos Tavora, Colin D’Cruz, Mac Dourado and others got together to organize small home events at Armando’s home aka Gonsalves Mansion.

Revival of Carnival in 1988.

The unique event that was conceptualized by us many years ago and which revived the Carnival in 1988. 'People's Carnival' as we called it, was about people of different walks of life participating in small groups of friends, family and relatives.

Many don’t even know that Carnival had reached a dead end in the years 1985 to 1987 when the Pastoral Committee at the Catholic Church gave out a call for boycott of the festivities since it was not Catholic in nature. We introduced the first color pages in Goa for Navhind Times in 1990. And also does bring back a lot of nostalgia as we also did a spread for the then ongoing World Cup.

The Taste of Goa Festival creatives as well as videos were created by us. We have been a subtle behind the scenes operation which has powered so many top class ideas in Goa over the years. Since we are so effective at positioning brands and backing them, we intend to get into the commercial space since we can truly serve some good upcoming brands in Goa.
