Axis Bank is only doing business now days and earning money as much as possible without following rules regulations, in short axis is directly looting the customers like us nothing else.
In the month of May2024, my brother deposited total 3 lac in my account in cash mode through non home branch. And in the month of June 2024 axis bank deducted total Rs.5752 from my account as cash Translations fees.
After that I have dropped email to Cbd Belapur home branch relationship manager ( Sneha bhoir) and nodal office also on 16th Jun 2024 but after that also there was no official response till 23 jun 2024. After too much continuous call from my side , finally Cbd Belapur branch head Rashmi replied yesterday over mail in casual way instead of giving proper clarification about the charges and attached MID policy in the mail attachment.
In last 5/6 days, I got only 2 calls from nodal office and in the second call nodal officer trying to convince me that , these are proper charges. So I just asked her to reply officially so that I can take legal action, after that she directly disconnected the phone.
After that there is no response either through call also from Axis Bank nodal office team.
In my case a third party has deposited a total 3 Lac in May2024, so as per axis bank MID policy document , after deducting the 25k free limit, Rs 2,75,000 comes under chargeable criteria. So Rs. 2750 could be the correct chargeable amount as per MID but axis bank applied two more extra charges - Cash transaction non-home charges (Rs.1125) & Cash transaction fee (Rs.1000) which is not mentioned even in MID in case of exceeding the cash limit. For non home branch, Rs 25000 is the limit for third party irrespective of home or non home branch and above that single time charges are Rs.10 per Rs.1000 also which is clearly mentioned in the MID.
So overall 2+ % of amount got deducted by Axis Bank against Rs.2,75,000.
And now instead of accepting fault and without giving proper clarification or solution, branch head and nodal office is ignoring my emails.
