What is OPC 33 , 43 , 53 grades?
Grades mentioned above are nothing but the compressive strength of the cement tested using the mortar cubes and it must attain 33MPA ,43MPA ,53MPA on 28days.

What is non trade cement?
Non trade supply or form c supply or institutional sale all mean the same.

In this mode, the company only charges the central sales tax on the commodity, given the buyer furnishes a form C, which is usually given to a builder or contractor as he only builds the projects and handover to the owner and got nothing to do with its possession after completion of construction. So normally in this case the buyer is a contractor or a builder or developer, whose consumption is substantially high as in construction projects. For example if the cist to company for cement is 200/- with zero profit, the non trade price may be (200+20 tax + 15 profit) = 235/- per bag with company making 15/- profit per bag n govt. Getting 20/- per bag as tax

தமிழ்நாட்டின் மாநில அரசாங்கம் பொருட்களின் விலையில் 37% உயர்ந்து, சிமென்ட் விலை குறைக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று இந்தியாவின் பில்டர்கள் சங்கம் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளது. இந்து பத்திரிகையின் கூற்றுப்படி, மூலப்பொருட்களின் விலை, தொழிலாளர் மற்றும் போக்குவரத்து நிலையானதாக இருப்பினும், கடந்த 10 நாட்களில் சிமென்ட் விலைகள் கூர்மையாக அதிகரித்தன என்றார். மாநிலத்தில் கட்டுமான நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஏற்பட்ட மந்தநிலை காரணமாக சிமெண்டிற்கான தேவை குறைந்துவிட்டது என்றும் அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்

The Builders Association of India has urged that the state government of Tamil Nadu take measures to reduce the price of cement following a 37% rise in the cost of the commodity. Chairman S Ayyanathan said cement prices had witnessed ‘sharp’ increase in the last 10 days, despite the cost of raw materials, labour and transportation remaining static, according to the Hindu newspaper. He also cited falling demand for cement due to a slowdown in construction activity in the state.
