You don't need to be perfect - JUST START
Hey there, I completely understand where you're coming from. Starting something new can be exciting, and we often find ourselves looking for perfection before we even begin. But I'd love to share my own experience: you don't have to be perfect to get started. The most important thing is just to take that first step and explore.💯
I started freelancing in 2019, when I quit my first job and being a brand designer I always wanted my brand to be perfect in the aspect of the perfect color theme, perfect social media feed, perfect website, etc.. etc.. even before I officially started a business and had everything lined up. I got caught up in the idea of how my business would look, rather than focusing on how it would truly serve my clients. I ended up spending so much time looking perfect that I neglected the most important aspect—providing value.😮
Fast forward to 2023 (after quitting my second job, taking a break from my business, exploring new skills, and having some trials and errors in offers and packages, I finally stepped into my business again with a whole new mindset - I JUST STARTED BEING VALUABLE THAN PERFECT. I TOOK THAT FIRST STEP. It took me some time to understand that branding is most important for your business but only branding will not help you achieve your goals, other aspects such as consistency, value, your brand positioning you as an expert is also most important. I began focusing on building a brand that not only looked great but also provided immense value to my clients. Branding - Value - Consistency - all three go together to build a successful brand..right??
Remember, it's through these imperfections that we learn and grow, getting closer to our own version of perfection.
