Birla Ganpati, a very large Mangal Murti Morya IDOL 72 foot is situated at Shirgaon about 26km from pune. Its route is very well known Pune- Nigdi- Dehu-Somatane. After crossing the Somatane toll plaza, take a first left & again take a left turn to reach Base parking of the Birla Ganapati. One the way there is a Ghoradeshwar. Near by places to visit are Prati Shirdi Shirgaon, Sant. Tukaram Karma bhumi Dehu. You can visit all these places in one day.

This Idol is made by Sarala Birla. Property is register by Jaishree Charity trust. Murtikar are Maturam & Naresh Varma.

Nana Wada - Located near the Vasant Theatre in Budhwar Peth, Nana Wada is a traditional mansion spread over 20,000 square feet and built by Nana Phadnavis (1742–1800), the chief administrative officer of the Peshwas. He is believed to have built this residence for himself in 1780.

The wada is primarily made of sagwan wood (teak) and is a fine example of Peshwa architecture.

Malhargad is a hill fort in western India near Saswad, 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Pune. It is also known as Sonori Fort due to the village of Sonori being situated at its base. The fort was named for the god Malhari and was the last fort built by the Marathas, about 1775.

A gravity dam that lies 70 KMs from Pune, the Bhatghar Dam has developed into a prime picnic getaway and a shooting location for Marathi and Bollywood movies. Also known as Lloyd dam, it provides opportunities for water sports, apart from being a relaxing spot to spend the day at.

The weather is perfect, and the huge gushing sounds of water can make for an interesting background. A number of gardens have been built in the surrounding for said purposes.

दुर्गश्रेष्ठ राजधानी किल्ले रायगडावरील महादरवाजा 🚩🚩 शिवदुर्गनिर्मिती मधील अतिशय महत्वाची अशी ही गोमुखी द्वाररचना...

इथे दोन भव्य बुरुज दिसतात ,पैकी एक ७५ फूट तर दुसरा ६५ फूट उंच आहे.
या रचनेमध्ये दोन बुरुजांमधील अंतर अत्यंत कमी ठेवून,इथल्या पायऱ्या देखील अरुंद आणि इतर पायऱ्यांच्या तुलनेत जास्त चढाच्या असत.. या रचनेचे आणखी एक वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे इथे दरवाजासमोर मोकळी जागा कमीत कमी असते ज्यामुळे शत्रुसैन्याचा दरवाजावर हल्ला करण्याचा प्रयत्न अवघड होऊन बसे..

इतकेच नाही तर या दरवाजा जवळच असलेल्या बुरुजांवरून शत्रुसैन्यावर हल्ला करायला आपले मावळे सज्ज असायचेच.... जय जय श्री शिवछत्रपती 🚩🚩🚩

It has a commercial area, residential area, hospital with several specialisations, shopping and malls, restaurants, a gym, Aditi Garden (a 25-acre park), and schools. 30% (more specially 32.6%) of the area is made up of green space. There is a commercial complex named "Destination Centre" located herein. Construction began in 2000 and continues to develop itself with newer housing societies.
