Day 016 of logo design series - Baker Street cafe
This is one of my favorite places to go and sit for hours. I always wanted to make a logo for them. Here I combined the letter B and coffee together. I love mixing letters with objects through negative space. It's so much fun!

A landscape logo concept
Simplicity is undoubtedly the biggest factor behind a great logo design. And although a simple logo sometimes feels very easy to create, it's actually quite the contrary. It's a result of massive & tiresome addition, reduction and refinement of details, till it feels perfect.

3 basic rules for being a dope designer ( from my perspective ):

1/
Work on something, that you can emotionally connect to. With the people, as well as the subject.

2/
Sit everyday on a project, even if it's just for 15 mins. Never wait for the deadline.

3/
A good designer is only a designer. While a great designer wears a lot of hats - designer, art director, design manager. So, keep switching hats from time to time and you have to be good in all of them.
