The inspiration behind the interior design of Kerala Kitchen & Bar was the vast cultural landscape of Kerala. From the serene backwaters, to the vibrant Kathakali costumes, from intricate temple lamps to ornate pillars, from terracotta tiles to wooden boats, the pulse of Kerela comes alive in this plush restaurant & bar located in Juhu, Mumbai. A glimpse of the concept board for our interior design project for Kerela Kitchen & Bar in Juhu, Mumbai. For creative inspiration we travelled deep into the soul of Kerela. From homes that celebrate traditional architecture to temples with ornate pillars, from age old artefacts that speak of mythology to the green backwaters that form the backdrop of rural Kerala, we chose elements that come together to create a symbolic and powerful image of Kerela. The space design is a deeply intimate and culturally rich expression of what Kerala Kitchen & Bar stands for, an exclusive dining experience in one of Mumbai's premium locations.
