Grand Culmination of Rudra Upasana Marks a Milestone in the Vedic–Sai Renaissance
Marking yet another significant milestone in the epochal Vedic–Sai Renaissance initiated by Vedoddharaka Sri Sathya Sai as part of His Divine Avataric Mission, the sacred Sunday morning at Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed the solemn offering of Ekadasha Rudra Parayanam, signifying the grand culmination of the nationwide Rudra Upasana conducted across the revered Dwadasa Jyotirlinga Kshetras of the sacred Land of Bharat.
This spiritually elevating series of sacred chantings, undertaken during the historic Centennial Year of Bhagawan’s Divine Advent, began at the holy shrine of Somnath Temple in Gujarat and traversed the length and breadth of the country, covering all the Jyotirlinga Kshetras before culminating at the sacred Abode of Srisailam Temple in Andhra Pradesh, in preparation for the forthcoming 100th Birthday Celebrations of the Lord.
The sacred offering today commenced with ‘Deepa Prajwalana’- lighting of the ceremonial lamp, by Sarvasree RJ Rathnakar, K Chakravarthi, ISN Prasad, Nimish Pandya, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Chairman, Sri Sathya Sai Global Council and Trustee-Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, All India President and Vice Chairman of Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, respectively. Attended by hundreds of Vedic chanters from across India and joined online by Sai devotees from various centres under the aegis of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, the morning session commenced with a solemn Sankalpa. The proceedings then flowed with the powerful chanting of the Sri Rudram, interspersed with Namakam—each preceded by Sankalpa. Men and women chanters participated alternately in the recitations, creating a spiritually vibrant rhythm of devotion and discipline.
The sacred Vedic assembly stood as yet another testimony to Bhagawan’s vision of reviving and re-establishing the eternal glory of the Vedas for the welfare of humanity.
Bhajans continued and Mangala Arathi at 11:30 marked the grand culmination of the yearlong Vedic Yajna, during the blessed Centennial Year of His Advent!!!
