Blogging is one of the best side hustles in current times to start a decent income.

Find out a good topic with a market in which you also have some interest. After that, just add good optimised and detailed content for your audience.

Be consistent (it's the main factor) and In the course of time start to build an email list and affiliate marketing.

Tips for starting a blog:

1. Find a topic that has an audience and you should have some passion for it, so that you can write about it at least for the next three years.

2. Always look for a solution oriented topic, for which a specific audience is looking for. This way you can bring traffic to your blog. And if you can go more deeper and specific to that broad topic, its much better.

3. Stick to a single targeted niche.

4. Once you start a blog, try to create an email list from the very beginning. Your email subscribers are your no.1 fans. always nurture them with valuable content. And in between start promoting your products/affiliate products. Email subscribers has the best ROI in the market.

5. Once you publish a post, share it in all of your social feeds and groups. Send out a mail to your subscribers to check out your new post.

6. Your website upload time is very crucial. No one likes a slow website. A slow website can drop your overall traffic and sales. So, always take care about it.

7. Go for a better and reliable web hosting, so that your content remain safe and your website loads fast.

8. Never publish or offer trash content. It will kill your blog.

9. Whenever you are writing any review about any product, check that the product has all the good features and it will add value to your audience. Try to promote those products which you use. So, that you can tell all your first hand experience. People will love that. Even if you are not using, make sure the product is one of the best.

10. Always perform On-page SEO before publishing, check all the recommendations and update those. You can use Rankmath or Yoast.

11. Always update your old posts with additional content, FAQs, low competition keywords. This always works.

12. Plan your schedule at least for next 15 to 30 days in advance.

Whatever I have gone through till now, I have seen Bloggers who consistently publishes good quality post in the long run has mostly succeded or are earning a decent income.

If you overthink too much about your website or topics or posts or niche, then after some time you will lose confidence to write or blog.

Find out a good niche, which have a decent market and which also you will love to write about at least for the next 3 years, once you get that start posting content on a regular basis around it.

When I say regularly, try to post an article in every 7 days, at most 10 days. After some time when you find some positive results increase the frequency.

Stick on it, prefer consistency over perfection and you will start seeing positive results gradually.

If you don’t have time to write, contact with a good content writer and instruct him or her.

Always remember, Play the game long enough - and you will be in the top 10%
