ARTOS is founded by Adduri Ramachandra Raju and Adduri Jagannadha Raju in the year 1919.Adduri Ramachandra Raju began his entrepreneurial journey in 1912 by selling carbonated water in the local market.In 1919, Ramachandra Raju's younger brother Jagannatha Raju joined the team and started marketing the sodas.Later they established contacts with soda makers in London and imported glass bottles, sugar, CO2 gas and flavors for making aerated drinks. Thus was born AP's first soft drink in 1919 - ARTOS.In the late 50's, new soft drink companies entered the Indian market including the MNC's.In the year 1956, the business was handed over to the sons of A. Padmanabha Raju and Mr. Both the brothers developed the business by importing automatic machinery and equipment. The business crossed leaps and bounds during that period. In the year 1980 the business was handed over to the sons of A. Satyanaryana Raju, Mr. Jagannadha Varma, Mr. Veerabhadra Raju and Mr. Padmanabha Varma.Currently, ARTOS is distributed in East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Visakha & Vijayanagaram districts.
