Amid the pleasant and serene environment with a cool breeze and on the lush green meadow of the famous hill resort Patnitop surrounded by the sylvan forest of deodar and Kail trees,a Yoga session was organised in the main meadow of Patnitop today.

It was organized as part of the ongoing J&K UT wide Nashamukt Bharat Abhiyan and also as a preparation for the ensuing International Yoga Day on June 21,by the Patnitop Development Authority(PDA) in collaboration with the Department of AYUSH, Udhampur,

In the Yoga session presided by the Chief Executive Officer,PDA,Virender Manyal the team of department of AYUSH led by the District Officer,AYUSH, Udhampur,Dr.Surekha Pandita the students of some local schools besides the personnel of PDA,AYUSH, Department of Tourism and J&K Tourism Development Corporation practiced some standing Yoga postures.

Initially,the session was started with a Nashamukt pledge followed by a prayer.
