Being who you are..

How many times do we end up listening.."Just be yourself and nothing else matters". But, let's be honest over here, someone behaving odd and causing trouble to others can't remain true to himself/herself. A person like this doesn't defies the statement "Be yourself"..
Well, in my response.. One can always be themselves. It is the conditioning, the environment, the thinking makes him/her behaving odd.
Our true self is who we really are when we let go of all the stories, labels, and the judgements that we have placed upon ourselves.
