Department of Educational Studies, CUJ organizes Farewell “Navpath”.
Jammu, 30 April 2026: The Department of Educational Studies organized a farewell event titled “Navpath” to bid adieu to its graduating students of M.Ed. fourth semester and B.A. B.Ed eighth semester. The event celebrated not an ending, but the beginning of new journeys filled with aspirations, growth, and opportunities. The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings for wisdom and success followed by the welcome address by the Head of the Department, Prof. Asit K. Mantry. The event was graced by the Dean of Students’ Welfare, Prof. Ritu Bakshi, along with other faculty members of the department including Prof. J. N. Baliya, Dr. Kiran, Dr. Aman, Dr. Ravi Vanguri, Dr. Yad Ram, Dr. Mohan Galgotra, Dr. Ravail Singh, Dr. Nidhi Saraf, , Dr. Arushi Baloria Dr. Mridu Sharma and Ms. Shivali. The theme “Navpath” symbolized new beginnings and transitions. Students reflected on their academic journey, cherishing the friendships, values, and experiences gained during their time in the department.
The event featured engaging activities, speeches, and cultural performances, creating an atmosphere of joy and nostalgia. Faculty members shared their words of wisdom, encouraging students to embrace future challenges with confidence. A heartfelt tribute was presented by juniors, expressing gratitude towards seniors for their guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support throughout their academic journey. The graduating students also participated in a number of fun games and based on their performances, Mr. Vishav Partap Singh and Ms. Shagun Katoch from M.Ed and Mr. Mrityunjay Singh and Ms. Jagriti Gupta from B.A B.Ed were felicitated with the titles of Mr. and Miss Farewell respectively.The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of faculty, organizers, and students who made the event a grand success. The farewell ended on an emotional yet hopeful note, with best wishes for the bright future of the graduating batch.
