5 actionable tips now that the June 2026 spam update is live 👉🏼
1️⃣ Get rid of your useless, AI generated sh*te
Did you publish hundreds of pages using AI, with no human checking the facts and crappy, run of the mill information?
→ Unpublish them. Or merge them into one USEFUL page.
2️⃣ Check if you’re just copying
Open your top 5 posts. Ask: do they just say what’s already on Google’s first page?
Or do they add something new — your own photos, your own data, your own story?
→ If it’s just a copy of what’s already out there, sack it off.
3️⃣ Check old domains you bought
Did you buy an old website and redirect it to your main site?
→ If that old site was spammy, it’s dragging yours down right now. Remove the redirect today.
4️⃣ See what Google’s robot actually sees
Go to Search Console → URL Inspection → “View Tested Page.”
Compare that screenshot to what you see as a normal visitor.
→ Different text or links? That’s called cloaking. Fix that.
5️⃣ Look for floods of bad links
Did you buy low quality guest posts? Join a PBN? Purposely buy thousands of spammy links overnight? That’s a baaaaad move.
But don’t panic and start disavowing, if you didn’t purposely do this then Google is smart enough to ignore random spam content on its own.
Only disavow if you have thousands of deliberate, paid spam links.
Do these 5 checks today. Your site will thank you, and then you can thank me 😉
