3.12.2020 : Yesterday, on the occasion of World Disability Day Cachar Administration & Kamprup Administration presented awards to the students with disabilities who topped in HSLC examination.
Here, students were presented Chinese T.V. sets (Mi, Realme) as awards.
Now, here question arises, as how can both the districts' administration can present a Chinese product, where our PM himself has appealed to everyone to 'boycott Chinese products'.

Tiger From Kaziranga Attacks A Village In Tezpur.
24.11.20 : One tiger strayed out from Kaziranga/Nameri into Napam area near Tezpur University.
Sec 144 Cr PC has promulgated to control the crowd. Drive out operation was carried out in the late afternoon towards Kaziranga. Tiger moved towards Jiabharali area near to 9th addition area. Two persons were injured and admitted to Hospital. Situation is under control.
DFO Sonitpur West Divn Tezpur lead the operation. DFO Nagaon Wildlife, DFO Western Assam Wildlife, CWRC team supported the drive out operation.

23.11.20 : Based on source information a surprise check was conducted today by Shri Partha Protim das IPS SDPO Lakhipur and intercepted a vehicle at kaptanpur area .On search recovered 450grams of suspected heroine and a cash of Rs 195000 from the possession of two persons.A case has been registered under NDPS act ' ’

Silchar: As seen on the CCTV footage of Rainbow Infotech,Sonai Road. On 6th November, at 7:12pm a man came at this shop and asked to show him a phone (one plus) which cost more than 50,000. He pretended to be on a phone call, and as he got the chance he fled away on a bike in front of everyone. It seems that it was pre-planned.
Theft in Silchar is increasing day-by-day. Everyone must be careful.
