A tragic incident at Katigorah’s Holy Flowers High School has triggered widespread outrage after a young child reportedly died mysteriously during class hours. The incident has sparked strong reactions among parents, local residents, and the education community.
According to reports, the child suddenly fell ill inside the classroom during regular class hours. Allegations have surfaced that the teachers on duty were engaged in personal conversations at the time. CCTV footage reportedly shows the child lying helplessly beneath a bench, while no immediate action was taken by the teachers present.
Classmates allegedly tried repeatedly to draw the attention of the teachers, but the matter was not taken seriously. As a result, the child reportedly remained unattended inside the classroom for a significant period. Some locals have claimed that timely medical assistance might have saved the child’s life.
The incident led to tension on the school premises, with angry parents and residents questioning the negligence of the school authorities. Serious concerns have now been raised regarding student safety and monitoring systems in private educational institutions.
The deceased child has been identified as 4-year-old Sakib Alam, the only son of Haris Uddin, a resident of Katigorah 2nd Block.
Police have reportedly begun an investigation into the matter. Demands are growing for a thorough examination of the CCTV footage and appropriate legal action against those found responsible.
The heartbreaking incident has cast a shadow of grief across the entire area and has once again highlighted the urgent need for stricter child safety measures in educational institutions.
