The well-known quarry in Nerja, famous for its amount of abandoned vintage equipment has been cleaned. All vehicles scrapped and the land is restored to its original state.

While understandable, for people like me that truly enjoys classic heavy equipment, it is sad that everything went to a scrapyard. The Pegaso trucks, the Ebro cab, the JCB backhoe and the tracked loader will now be a part of some chinese electric car, or a german fridge.

Luckily, I went there in 2022 to take as many pictures as possible.
