Brand identity, if done properly, is the magic powder that makes you different from any other company of the neighbourhood. It’s the collection of all your distinctive elements — what makes you, you. This is why in order to develop an appealing brand identity, you first need to make one BIG step: DEFINE WHO YOU ARE!
This means asking yourself questions like “What is my purpose?”, “What values drive my company?”, “What makes me different from others?” and we could go on and on. It’s a full immersion, it takes some time and it’s normal it does. Once you’ve made this clear, it’s time for brand identity design — exciting times (at least for me)! 🙌🏻😍
Your brand identity elements are what will determine how your brand is perceived. I’m talking about your logo, colours, typography, imagery… all declined on your packaging, website, social media posts & all that jazz. The key here is consistency — define your elements and stick to them. They are what people will remember you for.
Having a good brand identity means having all the vital foundations for building a successful business. Always keep this in mind! 💪🏻
